What We Do
Increasing Income for Smallholder Farmers in Uganda
We are on a mission to increase income for smallholder farmers in East Africa through productive asset-financing and training. Our unique blend of assets, inclusive financing, and training connects farmers to the tools they need to move forward.
As an impact-oriented company, our loans are purposefully designed with the benefit to our customers at the core. While other financial institutions prioritize profit, we focus on giving loans that have a direct impact on the farmer’s ability to increase income over time using products that are fully vetted, tested, and piloted.

Most clients live deep-rural with limited access to traditional finance. Our service model is built on going to thembuilding community relationships, collecting payments in-person, hand-delivering assets, and being present to train and troubleshoot.
Terms are designed around the realities of deep-rural customers. Down payments, repayment schedules, and collateral requirements are structured to responsibly lower the adoption threshold so more farmers can access income-producing assets.
All of our products are vetted and tested by the Cycle Connect innovations team for their ability to increase income for rural farmers.
A motorcycle loan empowers clients with greater mobility, efficiency, and earning potential to travel farther and faster, transport more goods, or run a boda-boda taxi. It unlocks new income opportunities and improves overall financial stability compared to a bicycle alone.
A high-value asset with excellent ROI for entrepreneurial farmers. A grinding mill generates cash flow, strengthens household resilience, and serves the community by offering affordable, local milling services.
Threshers reduce post-harvest losses and labour time while boosting throughput and quality. Clients can earn from their own harvests and by renting services to neighbours creating a dependable income stream.
